Job Title: Regional Account Manager
Reports to: Director of Internal Sales
Location: Chicago, IL
The Company:
Aston Asset Management, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, offers a broad selection of sub advised mutual funds in no load share classes for both individual and institutional investors.
The Opportunity:
The Regional Account Manager will be primarily responsible for working with two external sales people to build and preserve assets in their respective regions. The Regional Account Manager will qualify prospects, set meetings and fulfill requests for the external sales people in their regions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Makes all necessary and relevant phone calls to existing clients and prospects to further develop territory
- Provides research and sales support with programs such as PSN and Morningstar
- Sends out timely updates and communications via email to distribution lists
- Maintains knowledge in all company products and strategies and how they compare to the competition
- Provides advisor kits and all literature fulfillment to external sales team; prepares presentations
- Tracks trades and sales
Background Requirements:
- Excellent phone and communication skills
- Understanding of investment strategies and products
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of MARS CRM system a plus
